First Fruits in Kenya
These pictures are so exciting. David and Miriam are the first college graduates of our Upward Scholarship Program in Kenya. They grew up around the impoverished village of Kithianio and participated in the early ministries before the Eagles Christian Academy. Both graduated from high school with high marks, earned Upward Scholarships from HOB, and studied diligently through college. David graduated with a business and finance degree and Miriam with a degree in travel hospitality.
The most exciting thing about them is their faith. Both participated in a weekend retreat that I was personally involved in January of this year. They have a deep faith in the Lord and a growing desire to serve Him. Both joined our team in June and ministered to the Eagles Christian Academy and the surrounding area. David has already expressed his desire to use his knowledge to help the people of his village grow in their ability to provide for themselves and their families.
God is doing a great work in their lives and His Kingdom will be increased through His work in them!
